A ambient song paying tribute to movies such as Aliens, Star Wars, Starship Troopers, and other Sci-fi films. A pretty good song, as it conveys a sense of space and greatness, as what a movie theme should do. However, it does, at times, seem very "empty", and lacking in depth. The rhythm through the song is erratic at times also, and is distracting. One movement that comes to mind is near the middle in which there are these kettle drums in the background that increase tempo, but doesnt quite match the rest of the instruments tempo. Also, perhaps a slight better sample selection would make the song better (a less distorted-sounding bass drum, perhaps a clearer trumpet sample in the opening "vocal" section come to mind). Technically, its sound. Notice no real problems with the samples other than the fact that the bass drum is rather distorted (but, that may be his choosen effect that he wanted). He does use a few effect (portamento) to aid the song, but nothing fancy it seems.
