Here comes another well-done trance/dance piece from iCy, and it just about lives up to its title. High energy throughout, it can get you moving and into groove right away, not letting go until its all-too-abrupt fadeout end. It can get very repetitive in some parts, but it flits about enough to keep it away from boring, without changing so much that it loses the trancing groove. There seems to be a real dichotomy in the techniques of this piece... Some sections are amazing in their innovation, while others come close to harming the music with their simplicity. Even doing as little as providing some more separation of the channels along the stereo soundscape would have improved this a great deal. Still, the technical side doesn't detract from the music in the least, which shows the wisdom in the statement, "If you can't do it well, at least stay out of the way and don't louse it up." Final analysis: Not for everyone, but trancers, ravers, and others into hardcore techno will really like this, even as short as it is for a trance piece.
