The artist of "Jam with Uzeeb" has created a fairly average piece of music. It has elements of 70's Funk, but with modern leads etc. The technical details are quite immpressive, such as the use of: virbrato and pitch slide. The song has some great patern, and some not so great paterns, it is a pity that the artist chose to use the "not so great patern" as the main theme. The samples are quite high pitched 8 biters, and are annoying in places. The use of modulative devices in this song is what brings it up to standard funk music. The effects used on the lead are not unnecessary, they bring the lead to pace with the rest of the melody, and are done very well. The sample though... ehhkkk! The beat is quite imaginative, there are some parts where the beat is used to reloop back to the main theme (a bit too much) with snare drum fills, that are very good in consideration to the sample chosen for the snare.
