This is actually very good music in many places, but it's just too damn fast. Lowering the tempo by about 30 bpm increases the quality of the song dramatically. That said, it still sounds like Movie Soundtrack By Chipmunks On Crack. The song is several registers too high to be in comfortable listening range. However, it really does some interesting things to set a nice mood of intrigue and tension. The pizzicato strings play counterpoint with a xylophone in the background with tympani and brass hits coming forth to take the sub-melody, in a change of pace. If the author would consider reworking this much slower and lower, he could have something of high quality on his hands. First off, the song as a whole needs to be taken about three notches down on the caffeine meters. It's too fast to hear the articulation in the background, and nearly all of the samples were designed to be played at least an octave lower. This could have been something extraordinary, but it's not. Ra shows that he has immense musical talent... But his technical expertise with a tracker is close to nil. As I've said before, if he would take the time to mix this together again, fixing his mistakes, it could be splendid... Listen to this one if you feel ready to alter it yourself to make it what it could be.
