This is the sort of piece that goes so many different directions that it's all but impossible to define in this short of a space. The one underlying feel to the whole piece, though, is very definite: Menacing. From the word go, you start out with a creepy ambient industrial howl, leading into the first vox sample from LD50 himself: "I've got a bad feeling about this." Then, the music breaks out into a very angry drum and distortion beat, dipping into the realms of Industrial and Rave here and there... Until all goes quiet again, just long enough to get you off-guard for the next brutal attack from nail-biting gratingly harsh vocals. This mod is an exercise in contrast, from one moment to the next, you're always experiencing something new... But no matter what it is, you can be sure it will be creepy. To anyone who was simply watching the piece fly by, it would look as though Lethal Dose 50 hadn't done a thing in the technical department... However, with some study, it becomes apparent that he did all of his work previous to constructing the module. All of his samples are constructed with decay and flanging already built in, and his vox samples are flawless when he needs them crystal clear... But distorted beyond recognition when he wants them harsh and foreboding. There's not a whole lot he could have done with the effects he left out that he didn't achieve by pre-packaging his samples. All in all, it's a well-done piece put together from a harsh, dark techno background, overlapping in several areas.
