This song is extremely repetetive, but the song grows every patterns, it gets bigger, and bigger... That's what makes it a very nice song, only one thing doesn't suit: some sort of beep beginning at pattern 32. The song is on the big side, but is definitely worth downloading it! Excellent panning is used in this song, also the samples are good quality. These samples suit well together. A very professional drum kit is used, and Highlander used it the way it was used to be.

O R B I T A L H I G H L A N D E R A P R I L 1 9 9 9 __________________________________________________________________________ After about four months of listening to this tune in it's half-made stage for the millionth time, I've finally decided to finish it at last. I think I've got it sounding almost how I wanted it to sound. I was aiming for a sort of ambient, soft yet rhythmic sound - like the tunes by 'The Orb'. I'm quite happy with it. The samples are from various sources. Bjork CD's, Sample CD's - and a few others. Now just sit back and relax __________________________________________________________________________ The Ingredients for this tune are as follows: First and foremost, seeing PITCHSHIFTER live at the Edinburgh venue last night - YOU GUYS RULE!! That mad feeling of nostalgia I get every time I see the new Star Wars trailer. Woah - It Looks FAB. Watching lots of Anime vids. Reading lots of comics. Umm... oh, and drink. Lots of it, sir. __________________________________________________________________________ Hey, you oinks! E-Mail Me! craigjames_cableinet.co.uk

One of my favorite ambient tracks, there's a slow drum track accompanied by lot's of ambient eery sounds and an ongoing electric piano.
After a while a breakbeat starts and a bit more melody comes up, played by strings, a harp and other synthy sounds. There is excellent use of stereo sound, and it almost feels like you're listening to surround sound.
I imagine myself lying on a mountain top, just watching the stars in the sky and pondering what's happening far away in the universe when I listen to this song.
The original samples and instruments together with the changing drumtrack, eery electric piano and background sound effects make this track very unique.
