The tune is actually very good, for a chiptune. The sounds are chippy enough that you never quite get away from the genre's distinctive feel, but they're used well enough that it's not annoying in the least. The music is innovative enough to keep you listening, even though the song is very short. Unfortunately, there's simply not enough music to make the song really stand out. This mod has a duality of tech about it... The effects embedded into the song almost mask its chippiness in a few places, and it's amazingly small... Under 15K for the entire song, unzipped. However, it uses pattern-jumping commands quite a bit, and that makes ModPlug do mean things, like not play the song. Listen to this with FastTracker or even WinAmp, they play it properly. Unfortunately, though it's got decent music, the piece just doesn't break away from the set standards enough to stand out, and it's very very short.
