-HomesickAlien- -Night in Palo Alto- One of those songs that is really tough to finish because it took so long to write and so much went into it. About 6 months worth of working and reworking of melody and percussion. It started off as an experiment with building a song without a definite melody. (Nothing to distract from the ambience). Well - it turned into this weird conglomeration of IDM, ambience and orchestral with hints at drum and bass... Who knows how it got there. Anyhow, enjoy! A very good piece. Overall mood is very HomesickAlien-ish, with beautiful samples setting up a great mood for this great song. Although the tempo and the BPS remain constant, the song speeds up in the middle and slows down towards the end, creating a perfect "night-time" mood, as I perceive it. Strongly recommended. HomesickAlien has created his own style for his modules, and this is a very good example of this. The samples are tweaked to perfection. Although the large number of currently-played channels will slow down many computers, it is well worth it. Furthermore, the outstanding samples set the mood of the whole song
