───────────────────── Place in my space ───────────────────── By Mental Floss [Kosmic] ══════════════════════════ email: andrewm_io.org web: http://www.io.org/~andrewm/ Kosmic's web: http://kosmic.wit.com /~kosmic/ irc: AndrewM (#trax/#rave) ─────────────────────────── Yeah yeah... repedative techno... but it sounds keen enough to still be enjoyable, so enjoy it for what it is, and not what it ain't. :) It's got a nice kickdrum, so i takes advantage of high- bass systems. It's easy to remix with. (That's a hint, by the way. ;) Look for some live performances by me in the Toronto area at some raves in the future. The first confirmed one is at the Cyberdelic rave on July 1st. Come on out and say Hi. I might have some other music for sale by other Kosmic members (unreleased stuff) as well. You can check my web pages as well. They have a lot of info and I update them often. Thanks to everyone who sent feedback on previous releases by me (Big Time, White Sands, etc). Musicians are always growing and can use some listener input (they can also use some praise, too. ;) Quickie greets to my girlfriend, Petvet on IRC, Maelcum, Basehead (ob. greets), Skaven and IRC newbie Purple Motion. The other Mental Floss, who helps take compliments for each-other, Blackwolf and Adam Lloyd, just because I got a good reaction from them the last time I greeted them ;), A-B-Y, who always greets me in #rave, DeeeGroovy, because she's a cutie, Sulliman, Diablo, ChuckB, Phoenix, Khyron and especially Krystall who bailed me out after I saved over one of my songs, Spazz and Keebler for getting me the live performance. P-Nut for trying to get me another performance :), Chris G for being enthused about my stuff, and everyone else who I can't remember but who I talk to often enough and should be here. Also thanks to anyone who sent me comments on previous stuff. Mental Floss of the K·o·s·m·i·c F·r·e·e M·u·s·i·c F·o·u·n·d·a·t·i·o·n ∙ PutInst 2.0 ∙

What can I say but if you love repatitive techno, then you might enjoy this piece. I, however, get bored and annoyed by repetative techno. How much skill does it take to put together this kind of music? Not much, which is why so many people start out tracking this type of music. However, I know that the members of KFMF (Mental Floss being one) are not novice trackers. However, you would think they might be by listening to this piece. "Hold on to your hats because you're going to love this" - I think not. Even though the music sounds very bland and repetative, I could tell that some time was put into this piece. However, what's the point of spending a lot of time on a piece that is not enjoyable? Thus, even though there were some good parts (such as the introduction of a semi-new groove at 3:10), the techniques used on the whole were not good.
