This tune starts out with a wonderful background melody. However, the kick drum that kicks in is too loud. The electric bass seems to be out of tune, the ambient strings overpower much of the melody, and the drum track leaves much to be desired. The techno-style flange that can be heard is very annoying. The chord progression is quite unpleasing to the ear. Musically, this piece leaves much to be desired. The skill level of the composer in the tech catagory is better. This piece evidentally took some effort to produce. However, effort should have been added in order to tune the instruments better and equalize the samples so none are overpowering. The harmonic progression does not make sense (i7 to v7 to iv7? That was what I heard, at least) I find it amazing that this took 22 channels, when it probably could have been done in 12.
