This one was definitely lacking something. It's supposed to be a metal tune, but the choice of samples gave it a very hollow, weak sound. I didn't particularly care for the way that the short distorted guitars were used, making a very atonal mess. The introduction was not very interesting at all. Lots of issues here. When it jumps from pattern 0 to 1, there's a noticable volume jump. The way the drum samples were overworked (example: snare drums in last half of pattern 3) really detracted from the overall feel of the song. In addition, the jumpy changes in volume seemed extremely sudden and out of place. It would probably be better to change the tempo rather than the speed to make changes more subtle. Also, the author needs to make sure that looped samples are cut off at appropriate points, rather than left playing for several patterns at a time. In Impulse Tracker, I heard the bass guitar left looping at points, including the end of the song. That dropped the score down a notch.
