This is a 4 minute dance/house tune written in 1998 by a first-time tracker. I was surprised that this is this tracker's first song - it's better than most other trackers' first songs that I've heard. The song itself is a bit on the boring side, however. It plays the "Grease"-style theme that I've heard in so many mods - specifically, a progression of the bass going F5-D5-A#4-C5. Plus, it stays on the same exact theme with no variation throughout the song. The overall sound to this doesn't have a whole lot of meat on it - there's just not much to this song. It's pretty good for a first shot at tracking, but on its musical merit, it's nothing to get excited about. The fact that there's such a small sample set limits the kind of sound that this song can get. These all sound like basic house samples. There was one sample that was taken from Leviathan's "Wanderlust," and while I don't condemn sample ripping, it had data after the loop back point - it's easy enough to clip this in Impule Tracker, and it should have been done here. Stereo panning is used, but I would recommend not panning only on the extreme left or extreme right.
