It's very short, even for chip. I'm guessing this was made for an intro, or as accompanying music to some kind of software - it's not something for general listening. I enjoy a good chip song, but where's the beef? There's nothing to this one. For what it's worth, the lead is listenable, and if you don't like the tune, it's a mere 24 seconds before it ends. Sometimes I tire of the use of arpeggios in chip music, but I suppose that's the only way to get chords sometimes. Average, at best. The author doesn't seem to know how to handle percussion with Chip music. The samples were poor selections to handle the percussion, and the percussion itself sounded about a few halftones higher than it needed to be. Also, in the introduction, it switched from the right speaker to the left speaker between patterns, never a good idea. It was rather jarring. The author does demonstrate good knowledge of getting the leads to sound right, however. This makes me a bit torn as to how I rate this song, as the percussion is bad, but the leads are decent. I'd say it's a bit mediocre technically.
