Memorial Beach by Ivanhoe 20 June 1999 Length: 3'28 e-mail: iviel_foradell.ee website: http://www.cdd.ee The original of this song was recorded in 1993 by a-ha -=Memorial Beach=- (Paul Waaktaar-Savoy) < Here's the lyrics: > I pace the length Of my unmade room In times of change My bags are packed - I'm leaving the womb Into the rain We never find A place to hide Some peace of mind God knows we tried... Toes in the sand The seductive sway There's nothing better Across the bay - Sarasota Way We held together... So we walk down To Memorial Beach Where things began Honey days and nights without sleep Lost in the sand... Open Hi Conga Low-Mid Tom Crash Cymbal

This is a very good song, it has a nice light beat and all the insturments have been well chosen. It gives a nice sensation of the beach and rolling waves right before or right at sunset when the beach is fairly quiet. The melody is fairly laid back and relaxing. The main problem with this song is that the samples are horrible, they're really really staticy, to the point that it detracts from the song. maybe it it wasn't so bad it would add to it, give it a grainy sound like your at the beach, but this is just bad sounding. The song could of been so much better with better samples
