Starts off with a spacy intro... in come the hihats and strumbasses... enter the drums proper.. then it takes you on a ride thru time and space (literally) into the realm of the apparent gang rule on the red planet. Not only does Maffia get the gist fantastically, but it's musically brlliant too! Although it's the same most of the way thru, it never seems to get boring - a song you can listen to again and again and each time you will find something new to gasp at. Technically it's a fine piece of work too. His instruments are well-chosen for his genre and everything seems to fit together nicely. There's one minor gripe: technically it's perfect, but for some reason you never feel that it's going anywhere, it's limited to almost a countable number of different patterns/tracks, and even though it doesn't get boring, you sometimes get the feeling that another, totally different, far more moody and sinister movement could have been added. However, after listening to this, I don't think that's quite Maffia's thing. =)
