The Sound Of Loud! by (M)Rated 8th June 1998 ___________________________________________________________________________ Comments: Well this has been a long time in the works...I think I started this track around March and now it's FINALLY finished! WOO HOO! After releasing La Ment 4T I wanted to do something really loud and dancy and this is the end result... so make sure you crank it right up! This is dedicated to all those poeple out there who also think noise is not noise! (M)Rated ___________________________________________________________________________ Samples: The main noise sample (used in the chorus bit) was borrowed from The Prodigy track One Love which I ripped from the Hackers soundtrack (shit film, great soundtrack!) The second most used noise actually came from Dan W...you might recognise it from Scumbaggage! The first kick, snare and hihat used were from Daft Punk's Da Funk (duh!) The voice samples are as follows... "Do you prefer to remain in the web for eternity?" was a leftover sample from when I wrote Dr Who vs The Cybermen so once again thanks to the Dr. Who WAV Archive All the other voice samples are from Alien3. recorded by myself. The helicopter sample came from the game Incoming. The bass sample and the groovy 'tech' drum loop came from the Severed Communications site... http://www.sevcom.com The remaining percussive samples were taken from my extensive library so if they're yours, thanks! And finally the bongo-type sample came from the Ren & Stimpy CD You Stupid Eediot... the I Wanna Be A Monkey track... ;) ___________________________________________________________________________ Howdies: Well once again I won't name names except for a few people... otherwise I'd be here for the rest of the day typing (and no-one reads it anyway!) So...here are a few... Tanya ... my fiance Pauly & Dan W, Alex Aris (see you guys in July!...Tie Rack, noon) Pulse (keep up the good work!!!) Mysterium (let's see how long this one takes to be rated... ;) All TiS raters!!! (just remember that when you rate this track... hehe) ...and everyone else who I know but can't fit here... ___________________________________________________________________________ Contact: Listening Lounge: http://members.ocean.com.au/soutarm home e-mail: soutarm_ocean.com.au work e-mail: msoutar_nag.national.com.au ICQ: 808675 ___________________________________________________________________________ Legal stuff: (C)Copyright Michael Soutar 1998 All Rights Reserved THE END ___________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________

Oh yeeees.=) *still jamming* Wonderful piece. I really like this. This track slowly raises into hights and on the way it plays with sounds and effects. Once it gets there, it reveals that sample from Prodigy fits to this piece perfectly. Artist propably knows it since he uses it pretty much.=) It is so nice 2 hear a good handling of samples when meaning is to use 'em with maximum capacity. The end repeats itself little too much, but oh man/woman, don't let that bother you. Get this! Now! Yepps. In the intro the artist starts to use panning and adds the amount of effects through the song. Samples were collected with care (at least it sounds like it) and the sample from Prodigy was an excellent idea. Refreshing ideas, effects and great music was gathered into this piece and it just sounds very good.=) I can't describe anything , you have to hear this. Matter of taste this is, but I like it. And He has an artistpage!! I'll download everything!
