Yet another cool folk song from Nightbeat. It has it all - flute, accordion, strings, and more. Just get it.

This one sounds in some parts a bit like Approach, but who cares. This one is really awesome work! I don't want to know how much time nightbeat spent into the Kingfisher. It sounds so very simple the way the flute and accordion play their melodies you almost forget that you are sitting in front of your computer and are not standing on a market place of the early 11th century. I don't know what I should tell you else than that you need to download this and write it on CD immediately. It's short but perfect. He did it again. Nightbeat seems not to be able to make any bad mods. Or he doesn't release them ;-). 60 channels and the whole effects-palette are used. Impressive! The wonderful samples (unpacked size ca. 5MB) make this song an event you really enjoy every time you listen to it. If anybody doesn't know how to track, look at this one.

Flight of the Kingfisher composed and arranged by Carl Larsson (Nightbeat) _________________________ in October 1999 _________________________ At the time of this song's release, ten years have passed since my first module was finished. During those years, I have watched the tracking scene evolve into the maelstrom of music it is today. I want to thank the trackers of the world for this unforgettable experience. _________________________ This song uses about 140 channels, and will happily eat all the CPU power it can find. For optimal sound quality, I recommend ImpulseTracker with the Vsound driver. If your CPU can't handle the song, use the -L command line option to limit the number of active channels. _________________________ Contact info: nightbeat_traxinspace.com Carl Larsson Lunden 130 662 94 AMAL hem.passagen.se/dachande _________________________ Sample credits: Warder Awesome Audiomonster Korg X5D Korg Trinity etc. _________________________ Greetz: Astra ArcHammer Lord Foul J-boy Dzone TmX Warder Mysterium CyberZip Nevill Zworp #swedescene _________________________ Signed 99.10.12 Carl Larsson aka Nightbeat of Prometheus & Nebula _________________________

Great as ever! Absolutely great ambient/folk music by Nightbeat. Great composing and songwriting. It is a kind of game NB plays with the samples. Absolutely great!
