Fire on the Horizon gets extra points for originality. I don't know about the origins of the samples, but I haven't heard a sound like this anywhere else. That said, some of the melodies were excellent, and original but not to the point of abstractness. Cool ambient effects created by the marimbas, or whatever they were, in the background. Overall a good song worth a download. The main sample used for the lead was a little harsh and tinny, but not overly so. THe percussion sounded mute, probably due to a few bad samples. Most of the other samples would have sounded strange individually, but pieced together a cool song with a unique feel to it.
