Merregnon Lullaby by Bugster, November 2000 Written specifically for the TIS Merregnon Compo November 2000. When first starting out on this song, I found that the melody and the instruments used made it sound like a song that you would passify an infant to sleep. I wanted the song to tell a sort of "bedtime story" with a loving fae mother looking over her child as the child slept, and hope to have accomplished this task. I wanted a bridge in the middle in order not to be very repetitive and wanted the main melody to be the main focus of the song which enabled me to add instruments as time went along, but I wanted the end to suddenly fade out to a sort of "children's musicbox" to complete the feeling of a bedtime lullaby. However by doing so it made the song sound like it just "died", however I wanted it to end on a very soft note so I added an instrument or two to not have the song just die out. PS: Special thanks to TerraGuy for his advice on master volume. It made a big difference in quality! I hope you enjoy this tune. -Chris "Bugster" Spry.
