This is, as it states, a remake of Jester's Startdust Memories (stardust memories), unfortunately, while this utilizes about 5 times as many channels, it sounds half as thin. The punch has gone from the drums, the snare used in this is tinny and too heavy on high freqs. The lead is whiney in comparison to the original, and the chords are just too quiet and blandly represented.
Although credit is due to the artist for trying hard, to be honest; is this to be considered as an improvement over the original? No.
The original remains the best, this is clearly a runner up edition.
