Ok, well at 16 minutes in lenght, you'd expect this track to be an epic of sorts. Sorry to dissappoint. There is a fair bit of variation, I'll give it that, the track uses about 10 different lead instruments throughout its course. Most of the basslines and melodies are very unoriginal. The percussion is very uninspired, as is the bassline. Its as if someone has just pasted together lots of different patterns, the song just jumps from melody to melody, lead to lead - but it isn't particularly interesting. The main problem with this piece is that its a tad boring. The artist has tried to keep it interesting, by use of variation - OVER variation I think - just as you start to enjoy a part of the song, it changes completely. On average it plays about four patterns, then completely changes. On the whole the leads are too loud. Theres nothing really technically wrong with this track, but its layout isnt that of a proper music piece. I notice that it is a "mix", and surely some people will enjoy it, but I like my music to have more substance.
