Here's another fine, interesting and well composed creation by the allmighty Purple Motion ;-).. No, really, I DO appreciate what this composer has contributed to the MOD scene. This one starts off with sampled sea waves and Gull's (or some other bird's) cries, and then comes in some very nicely sampled and done piano. The Saxophone is soon to follow, although it's sample quality is something to argue about. Anyway, there is a lot of variation to this quiet tune, some carribean beat, and even vocals (beautiful and to the point but sounds like another instrument, because their volume is very low). But fear not, for even with those vocals, this tune weighs only 326KB! When you get farther into the song, it starts to sound like it's repeating, but overall: Small(in KB size!), rich and efficiently done. That's Purple Motion. The song's length is 4:44, but the last 40 seconds are complete silence! Besides that, all samples sound good and are in tune, and there is good use of panning and other effects, while the tune only has 12 tracks. Some very nice work with the piano and sax, nice vocals and tempo changes galore makes this a technically varied and well composed tune. BTW: I reloaded this review to get the filename fixed.
