An ambient/trance number with a bit of a darker tone. I used that "dark piano" sample on Chinese Sheep and like it so much that I used it again. A little repetitive, but it works out. - Shenlon

Overall Impression (4/10)

Honestly speaking, I found this quite dull, it has a couple of interesting aspects mentioned in the other sections, but overall the module isn't very appealing both on a musical and technical level.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (4/10)

The first thing that hits me is that the bassline is a flat tone, droning underneath the rather thin and un-dynamic melodies and drums. When using a piano sample, it's usually a good idea to vary the volume of it slightly to give a dynamic effect.

Back to the bass line, to put it plainly: it's boring :(. Introduction of staccato modes may have worked well with this to bring a richer texture plus an extra rhythmic element, as it is; the droning bass is conflicting with the drum's frequency space to some degree.

Advice: Try and get away from simply putting samples in sequence and try and experiment with the effect columns to bring some dynamic features to your music. It will pay off.

Development (6/10)

The melody is interesting, slightly sinister, even if rather plainly executed, it more or less follows the bass drone, sometimes conflicting with it which I believe is on purpose. However, it's monotonous all the way through which takes some points off the score for me.

Creativity (4/10)

Hmm. Pushing further with the notes on getting the most out of your tracker by using effects, this module doesn't really do anything creative other than sequence samples to define a bass line, melody and drums. There is much room for expansion, whether meant on purpose or not it didn't sound as if it was particularly challenging to make.

Enjoyment (4/10)

Personally, not one I'd keep in my own collection. Much room for improvement, it sounds quite amateur but hopefully keeping at it and taking on-board some advice from your peers (or reviews) will invariably help with future productions.
