The first thing you can hear in this little (2:06) dance tune is it's theme: a well-known oriental tune. You'll know it when you hear it :-). Anyway, it starts on a slow pace, and then accelerates to a quite fast paced dance melody, all throughout which the main theme is played and messed with quite cleverly. That is, until the last 30 seconds of this tune, where apparently the writer had ran out of inspiration, and just repeates the same string of tones over and over and over... Again. Boring! If this tune was longer and offered the same musical content, it would have gotten a much lower mark, but it's short, to the point and quite amusing, so it's O.K. But not a keeper in my taste. There's nothing wrong with this tune technically, but it doesn't offer too much to boast with, also. It doesn't use instruments, but the samples sound quite clean and in-tune with each other. It's a quite simple tune actually, and doesn't use many effects, but I liked the idea of going from one scale to another when the beat enters in the beginning. Overall, a well-arranged little tune (except for those damn 30 sec..;-). BTW: I reloaded this review, with a fixed file name.
