This tune has a entrancing background to it that sounds good even just by it's self. It's layed back in a fast sort of way. It has some really cool parts to it. And around the 3 min mark, it does this cool stuff with a umm bell? sound? Realy cool! Most samples were 8-bit. But I think it was done to reduce on size, if it didn't tell you it was 8-bit, you wouldn't be able to tell. And since it has that grinding background, it really doesn't make that much of a diference on how "scratchy" it sounds :)
