Overall Impression (10/10)

By the first listening I was sure, that this song is worth to be a part of some game. The strongest point is atmosphere. Incredible and very imaginative sound. Almost unbelievable, that this is almost twenty years old song. This compo has no weak point. Can be listened almost constantly (infinite loop).

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (10/10)

This compo demostrates very advanced use of tracking potential of Scream Tracker in just 12 channels. Carefully ballanced and slided volume and perfectly chosen stereo sound. Some unusual effects used to achive well ballanced proportion between typical "chip" like sound and legendary PM compos as in "UnreaL ][ / PM" (2ND_PM.S3M)... Obviously... Purple Motion is one of most crafted trackers I know.

Development (10/10)

Great stuff is presented in this track. Absolutely perfect, clearly ballanced and well mixed. Patterns and transitions are smooth and crystal clear samples recalls me of high-end quality synth music or Amiga chip tunes. Sort of "J.M.Jarre" style composition. 125/6 tempo seems to add perfect "dark" atmosphere to this composition.

Creativity (10/10)

Melodic, atmospheric, very inspirative song. As I wrote I would use this song as main title or opening for some sort of logical adventure like "Limbo" or dark story telling game, because in this song is shown great talent and sensitivity for creating some sort of outstanding and very inspirational, but little gnawing experience alternated with moments of pure get-up-and-go desire. Almost godly perfect. One slight deficiency is only at the end of song, maybe because of link-up to another song. Anyway - Outstanding!

Enjoyment (10/10)

For me this module is worth to be (really it should be) a part of some video sequence for dark and atmospheric adventure or arcade game. Definitively one of the best module music composed by PM. Worth of any music collection. Could be used as prelude to almost any sort of storytelling game. Imagine pirates, jungle, deep space, ancient worlds, cyberspace, this is "PROBE" to your mind, a probe, that brings imagination and experience.

One of the best S3M modules I ever heard! Awesome!
