Overall Impression (9/10)

This is the Bladswede Remix version. Between this version and the original, I'd go for the remix. This MOD was the main theme for an old skool game called Project X, a game originally released on the Amiga and later released on PC. A good MOD if you appreciate instrumental/soundtrack music.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (8/10)

It's hard to believe this MOD was used for a game made in the late 80s or early 90s. This type of music must have been new to its age and Allister Brimble definitely achieved a lot with this MOD. Each pattern flows well with each other, as it usually would as patterns (or sets of patterns) in those days would regularly be "recycled".

Development (7/10)

While the base theme is catchy, there are parts of the MOD where it seemed "experimental" samples were used. The tune is mostly repetitive, but it does vary at some various points. However I would recommend not listening to this MOD over and over.

Creativity (9/10)

The sample known as "chinkvox" was greatly used. I am very curious to know where Allister got that sample from and what inspired him to use it that way. This sample can first be heard from 0:15 - it's hard to miss.

At 3:12, what I refer to as an "experimental sample" was used. Another was used at 3:50. For those who think this is out of place, the only way it can be appreciated is if you were to find the game, download it and watch the intro and title.

Enjoyment (5/10)

While it's a great and catchy theme, the "experimental samples" can put you off quite a bit. A good track for a drive - if it's played once.
