I find it fair to rate tunes which I like very high, even if my analytical brain says that the tune is nothing special.
In this case I think a rating 6/10 would be fair, but I am rating it much higher, because this is objectively the effect that this tune has on me personally. So, why not rate it from this POV?
This is a classic 4 track chiptune, played at the standard 125/6 bpm/ticks. The samples are standard, the melody is dead simple, not too many tricks, but boy does this simplicity work!
Somehow for me this is one of the tunes that I keep going back to. When my modalgia kicks back in, this little wonder ends up on my playlist every time!
