The piece stands out muscally. It has a good drum sequence and some good guitar samples, but sadly most of them were full sequence samples. The song often changes its melodies, so the ambiance go with it. I noticed a high frequency sound that sounded strange to my ears, so I opened the song up to my tracker to discover that it was a breakbeat loop sample (it was very high-pitched, obviously forgotten by the artist). Well the structure is always keeping on changing, which is a plus in tech rating. But for the rest, the only real tracked thing is the drum sequnce, a melody and the bass. The best parts of the song (such as guitar solos) are all ripped. It has also a kind of explosive effect that is way too loud for the song. So, as in melodic side it stands out to be a decent song, in techincal side it's worse by being about 30-40% wave samples. It may have been the artist who has recorded his loop with his own electric guitar (who knows?), but in this case why haven't you did the song in mp3 instead? My final verdict: The song is rather nice with its melodies, but as for the tracking skills, I still need to see more. Good anyway! -- DJ Bourg
