Starts promising but very quickly comdems itself to the ses-pit I call Rave when the atmosphere is smashed by an overpowering bass beat. BUT, it then goes onto re-deem itself again! It keeps doing this, one second it is a trance like ambient tune and the next second a terrible vocal sample pitch shifted to sound like satan himself ruins your mood just in time for the smashing in of the kick drum. The later half however does move away from this indecision and drops the very heavy repetative beat in favour of something lighter with more atmos and changes. I'd love to give it a 7 or maybe 7.5 but that vocal and the beat ruins it for me. I like the ambience, good clean samples, but I don't like the drums, they definetly do not fit the mood. There is also a vocal sample, the same words in a female voice with a distant sounding echo and some reverb could have pulled it off, but the way it has been done it just sounds dark and doomy, not in fitting with the trance sound if the other instruments. This tune could be a good ambient track, or a good dance track, but it can't be both, and it can't make its mind up which it wants to be.
