What a composition. High level composing and feeling. Great melody and great samples. Dramatic, fun and hope in one song. Absolutely brilliant!

Great Revolt by Virt Good evening, friends. At last, after five tracks, I am back in my element. Although I love demostyle tracking and thoroughtly enjoy writing captivating leads and punchy electronic backing, I feel like a fish out of water when I'm not composing orchestral themes. With Great Revolt, I have finally achieved this. This is, needless to say, my finest track to date both technically and aesthetically, and after losing inspiration for a few weeks, I picked up the tail end of it this Sunday afternoon and flew with the remainder. All samples are original, coming from sources including E-Mu Sample CDs and my Alesis QS7, "Synthia." (grin) I plan on notating this piece by hand and converting it to a playable piece by a real orchestra, for inclusion in my "symphony" of sorts, as movement #3. Thank you for your interest, and I hope to be able to bring you more cinematic/orchestral work in the future. Oh my, special thanks to Jase, who paved the way for symphonic tracking with his amazing "Kingdom Skies." -Jacob Kaufman (Virt/Symmetrix) 12-6-98

Orchestral music so skillfully done that it's jaw-dropping.
