I'm sorry, like the MIDI conversion I commented on earlier, this song doesn't deserve to be on TMA. Judging from the song "source code", it's a straight SPC conversion.

StarFox:Battle Base Meteor from the game StarFox for the Super Nintendo (1992), soundtrack (C) Nintendo and Koji Kondo. All Rights Reserved. ------------------------ Adapted and edited from the SPC by /<itsune using MODPlug Tracker 1.07 >>>9/3/99<<< ------------------------ This is one of my favorite games of alltime and I figured it appropriately deserved a loopable track to honor the wonderful music which made it such a killer game for it's time. I would like to thank all the awesome people at Argonaut Software who went against the odds to make an awesome space opera. Also Koji Kondo for his symphonic prowess at creating memorable masterpieces in StarFox as well as other games(i.e.Zelda III) The only regret I have is that Nintendo never went ahead and released StarFox II for the Super Nintendo, the screenshots they had looked incredible. Ah well ------------------------ /<itsune kitsune_jtsmith.com

Whether this is a MIDI conversion or not, it plays properly in XMPlay for me, sounds OK, inspection of the tracker-view shows it contains far too many command codes than necessary so yes - this looks like an automated conversion. I don't mind good conversions per se, it's the crap ones which drive me nuts and of course if it's not been crafted by hand - whats the point - attributing your name?
