This song is a prime example of how to use speech samples that aren't you own and mix them into a (short) song. The song is very primitive, yet it maintains an overall quality that most don't have. Perhaps it goes to that old saying 'Quality not quantity'. The song consists of a simple jungle beat (a slow one), a wonderful synth string playing and a harp-ish sort of noise. Over this, there is occasionally a speech sample played with a record being spun backwards, giving it that punk sound to a really soothing song. The speech sample, I beleive is an astronaught, or a soldier, or something that was picked up off the airwaves. Semi-Pro AND Excellent? There's a reason. The sample quality is excellent, the mixing quality is also excellent, what isn't excellent is the speech sample. Oh well, you get that. I only gave it Semi-Pro because the song is too short and there's not much to it as far as complexity goes, but there's no doubt that this musician will get a lot better.
