Yesterday (Lennon/McCartney) This was such a great song, I had to do two versions of it. This is the full arrangement. There is also a one-sample version that I did too. I must admit, this is a lot better than my usual mods. I played around a lot with chord inversions. I have learned a lot from playing the guitar and piano, but I think I learned the most about music from tracking. This mod really taught me about how to do string arrangements. I tried to lock the hihats in with the bass as much as possible. The guitar arrangement came from the way I would normally play it on the guitar. The bass and snare are just the "Universal Beat", as I like to call it, sort of like you hear in "Walk This Way", but the hihats kind of mix it up so it sounds sort of R&B-ish. I also try to replicate the players' positions on the stage with panning and volume. I tried to imagine how the band is set up. Enough technical stuff, time for the usual greets: Beth, Damien, Jay, Junior, RSFTUOTDI3DRG members, BFN members, TIS members, TKD members, and finally to you. A remake of the classic Lennon/McCartney song. This song has a few problems. First of all, the strings are too loud! They drown the rest of the samples. The song also has quite a few out of key notes and chords, and some samples like the jazz guitar make it even more notiseable. The 8-bit and 16-bit samples this song has are good, not much noise in the background.
