Initially, I thought of this as a great take on Chris Isaak's Wicked Game but then, almost halfway through the song, a hard rock guitar slowly creeps among the instruments as the lead and ruins the soft touch of the song. I have to say... similarly to every other song of his, Voodoo Alex has a very 'uncommon' way of showing his talents when it comes to the hard rock genre, which is why this song didn't touch me like the original did. You should give it a try though, maybe it's just not for me.
