Very much a C64 chip tune, decent melody(s) though rather generic overall. A little on the short side, and ends not too long after 1:16 mark, which was somewhat disappointing since it began to take off again there.

Anak created a nice tune here, comparable to the nostalgian tracks of the C64 / Amiga 500 cracker scene. The melody is quite good. The C64 drums are groovy, and these little bleeps'n'peeps in the background fit in perfectly. The arrangement itself has nice variations. A big deficit is, on the other hand, that the track is only 1 minute and 32 seconds long, and a little bit more creativity wouldn't have killed the song. The whole track is monaural, meaning there are no stereo fx in it. It sounds very dry and boring when you're listening to "Gangwar" too much. Anak has used some nice fx like Arpeggio, Vibrato and Note Retriggering (Good!). The slides and tone portamentos in the lead voice are superb, too. I would have given this song a higher rating, if Anak had used some stereo here. The samples are typical for the style and they come pretty close to SID quality (the c64 audio chip).

Not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary either.
