Modern (for that time ofc) arrangement of a classic piece. Nothing special artistically but author's skills are impressive since he had to squeezee everything into a 4-channel mod.
The best MOD-file ever. Back in the time, this thing was written, it makes use off all capabilities of my old pc.
I first heard this mod on the Acorn Archimedes in the early 90s and was well impressed at the time. I'm still quite fond of it. I'd love to know who made it originally.
Trivia: I'm pretty sure it was used on an Archimedes game called Square Route.
This tune starts a bit corny, but I think that is mostly down to the samples used. Musicaly though this is a good compostion of a classic tune and when you have listened to the first minute the dodgy samples don't matter and its the music you are listening to. My only gripe is that this could have been a little more up tempo and dramatic. If you can pull of MODalising classical music you are doing something right. Like I say, the only thing which lets this down is the samples which sound a little dodgy and sound chippy in places, not that this is such a disaster because sound chip music is really making a come back! I would give this a 7 but it just doesn't have enough bite to stay in my personal collection so after reviewing this it'll end up in the recycle bin, but 6.5 ain't that bad.

A wolderful version of Tocatta e Fuga by Johann Sebastian Bach.
