Tombeau des Vampires
--------------------
  The Vampire-Tomb

Death, beauty and sensuality...
those are the three words I think
of when I hear the word "Vampire",
like Ann Rice describes them and not
like a human rat lurking around
cementaries.
But this song is about the lurking
ones :)

PART 1

(00.00)
It's time for work for the Gravekeeper
named Izidor. He has been working with
this for over 40 years now and still
is a bit frighten when he inserts the
key into the lock of the giant gate leading
to his working place.

Noone is to be seen on the grounds,
only a few crows can be heard from
the dead crooked trees. Every now
and then the sad howl of a lonly
wolf resonates from the distance behind
the inpenetrable darkness laying thick
over the deathstones.

(00:42)
the sinister silhoette of a building rises
above all other stones on the graveyard.
It's immense decorations of gargoyles and
twisted faces of suffering children seems
to get life when the moonlight begin to
play with them.

(01:02)
Izidor did only collect one child for this
evening, but what a child! He met her on a
busstop, apparently lost considering her small
age. He promised her to show her wonderful
things such as elfs and all other kind of magical
beings and the little girl seemed very entusiatic.

(01:22)
Izidor had problems with this kind of act at first,
made him think of himself as a pedophile, but he
would never harm her in any way if he was not forced
to. Bringing a child each night was an obligation if he didn't
wanna see his grandchildren suffer the same fate as the
one waiting for this girl in that evil tomb.

(01:42)
Suddenly eery voices began to sing, spreading across the
graveyard and a wild beat began to resonate from the ancient crypt...

(02:11)
Then the music began, as every other night. Out from the
crypt came shadows, dancing to this soft and sinister tune.
Twisting, jumping and whirling around the tombs all together
to this beat of the dead, as to the last heartbeats of a child
being exhausted of his blood. The black wings swept around exposing
white bony hands, which were all laid on the little girl's beautiful
blonde hair, carressing her red cheaks, telling her nice words and
singing for her beautiful songs.

(03:08)
Izidor could not watch this anymore.
And while going back to his office, he could hear the poor girl's
screams behind him, then see out from his window how the vampires grabbed her,
letting the darkness engulf her and then take her with them down
into the tomb.
