At the beggning this sounds like a first attempt at doing happy hardcore. Well as I know Gammis for being an old tracker (no offence about ur age Gammis! :P Meant old in trackin' experience), I thought that he knew what he was doing. But anyway I think this mod is pretty annoying. It could sound lot better with other samples. Espiacelly the distorted sample that plays for a heavy bass sample. I think the only bad thing there is a bad choice of samples. They are too hard and some others are at a too HIGH volume. On the technix side I don't know what to say... Oh yeh first it's a 4-channel mod, something that I never forget to tell in a review ;). If we put aside the fact that the samples are *crappy* this song is well tracked. Anyway happy hardcore doesn't require lot of knowledge in tracking: 80% of the song is in the chosen samples. So I will close this topic... and just finish by sayin' that: never mix chip & HHH (heavy happy hardcore), cause it could give annoying results. Anyway I appreciate this song for its energy, even if I have to lower volume of my player. I guess you had made it some time ago. -- DJ Bourg
