Do you remember how close we
came to having better quality
music on the Nintendo
Entertainment System? The
Konami VRC6 chip provided more
channels than the NES/Famicom
can provide.  However, those
Nintendo bigwigs decided to
leave us out of it, so now
we're in this predicament...

This mod demonstrates the raw
assortment of power that could
have been used for games like
Castlevania III, and more.
It's bad enough that it was cut
due to the expense, having to
port games using the MMC5
standard that most NES carts
was worse!!

Any comment can be made about
this song, being my first
chiptune and everything.  Had
to format to IT because the XM
format kept switching my Note
Cut (^^) into ==. I had to redo
the samples once, having worked
on this for a few hours and I
don't want to have it break at
the last second.

All the samples can be ripped
and used in your own chiptune
provided you give the appropriate
credit for them.

Channels 1-5 are the regular
NES channels; channels 6-8 is
the VRC6 channels.  You can
tell this is no ordinary chip
tune.
