Samples used remind me of something from those guys that do Y's soundtracks. Mildly listenable if you want something to add to a video game style playlist, but the percussion probably spoils that. The percussion sounds too punctuated.

Nothing spectacular melodically. Also the samples used, especially the rather grating snare drums just don't work very well.

I don't know why the people despise the song so much, I kinda like it.
The drums and melody are simple but nice, and stereo effects add up to the enjoyment. Looping is always a nice touch.
Only complaint is that the intro is pretty generic...
