This is a great combo of rock, orchestral, and techno elements, in addition to being very well-composed.

Overall Impression (8/10)

This is an overall great piece of music, great variation, tension building and great compositional skills. There's an urgency type of feeling on this song, so the title fits and as a great beginning, great mood variations and also an ok ending. It's only weak point it's the quality of the samples, but this is a tune from 1994, so it's quite understandable.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (10/10)

This guy has quite some skills, the song only has 7 channels, but it feels like something to have 16 or more, this is a great mod to learn tracking techniques. Great arrangements, smooth transitions through out the entire song and fully juice sucking from the samples, giving them all their precious time. There's great moments like on pattern 11, and all that section from 14 till 17, and much much more. All the tension building is balanced by resting moments to develop the main melody with the guitar so this is pretty a complete song. Fantastic.

Development (10/10)

It's really great, in the beginning there's only the wind and little instrumentation, until some mood synths try to give some momentum to the percussion part, and that really kick starts the song, from there it flows extremely well, with all it's great transitions. In the middle there's some pauses to really spice the song out, to give some fear on the title, for God sake there's a war in Middle Earth and we feel it.

Creativity (9/10)

Plenty, i think i self explained it pretty much already, this guy must have spent some weeks trying to perfect and fine tune this song and it's immense variations. He actually says that this song was an updated version on an old one with the same name so, there's time and preponderation.

Enjoyment (8/10)

A lot, till we figure out all the wonderful transitions, to the point of study it to the bone :) If the sample quality was better, this was a perfect song. Nevertheless, a classic by the way of the tracking scene. Great Work.
