Bass that loops! Synth SnareDrum Dist. Guit Another Cymbal Snare Rezoseq HallBrass Indigestion by Arcturus Yes, this sounds like it was the result of indigest- ion, doesn't it? :) Just kidding. The beginning was kinda weird, and some of the transitions are not very good, but other than that, this song kicks royal butt! Greetings to everybody. This song is dedicated to nobody in particular. -Arcturus (C) 1996 Nucleus Software

This song is a three-parter. The first part is...strange, parts two and three are more conventional rock. I’m not entirely sure where exactly this one falls in my song chronology. I’m guessing it was August. I like to think that this song represented the end of my period of being kind of careless in composing music (and not knowing how percussion works). It MIGHT have been the last time I used this particular guitar sample (it was my second favorite guitar sample from my early tracking days, with my favorite being the one I used in Segue).
I’m not really sure what I was thinking for the intro, I think I was probably just tinkering around with a bass sample, threw in a chord pad at a way lower frequency than it should have been played at, and then decided to change the tune up. It’s kind of weird-sounding and has almost nothing to do with the rest of the song. After the intro I sped things up a bit, and added a new layer with each new pattern (guitar, then bass, then rez synth, then brass). After this, I decided to change the tempo yet again and go even faster, but follow the same structure as before: start with guitars, then bass (super fast this time), rez, and finally brass.
It’s a confused structure and I didn’t really know what I wanted this song to be. It’s not my worst of my early songs, but certainly far from my best.
The title: I just wanted to come up with something that sounded unappealing to fit the sound of the intro and “indigestion” seemed appropriate.
