(c) Tangerine, 1998 This is my piece of music for Moonlight Dreams' demo called "Soul Surfer". It contains some nice scanning and old effects :) As you might see 90% of samples are from Soundwave packs here. Others from Ensoniq TS-10 and one (21) from Cybelius. Thanx. Hey, I had no inspiration at all during composition of this piece. Anyway it's better to listen to it with a demo. Otherwise it may look not too interesting. Ok... it's 5 am and I want to sleep! any questions? tangerine_online.ru want more music? webcenter.ru/~tangerine ___________________________ Some past thoughts here: . . ....this song was made in deep 1998, about 3 years ago. And it's structure is synchronized with scenes in the demo. That's why it may seem a bit silly, repetitive or just strange- because you are listening to it without demo-action. So - I am sorry again. The demo itself wasn't released at the right time, and probably will not be released later. Anyway, now you have an ability to catch some 'rare' demomusic from old bud Tangy ;). Nothing outstanding, of course. Wanna some more sincere words about me and scene? Well, it's almost 2002 now, and, as you can see, scene does not get a lot from me nowadays. I know that some people would be pleased to hear more tracked (or mp3?) music by me, and I have some unfinished tunes and projects. I wish I could find enough time and energy to finish at least some of them, to bring it to you for your pleasure. It is a fact that a lot of my time now is being eaten by psychology. But I'm not leaving the music and scene in the past! Believe me or not :) - I'm still reading scene news and watching some demos (not all, ofcoz:) Maybe you'll find it a bit sad - I can say that I've almost lost my affection to trackers (and, generally, "sampler-based sound"), and now I get more satisfaction from playing on "real" instruments and recording them live in my little home-studio (using little mixer and nice condencer- mic). I hope that someday you will hear "new Philipp Barsky" (not "Tangerine", of course, because now I don't feel my identity near with scene-nickname, and if I would publish a "real" CD "of mine", I surely won't mention "Tangerine" as a name of the project. Maybe I'll choose another "image" I don't know...Ok...So...:) Much love to you, listener!
