    Well holey moley, this
 song took me by surprise.
 I really didn't expect to
 end up adding in lyrics
 when I started composing
 this tune just yesterday.
    The initial melody and
 beat was inspired a lot
 by the band Garbage,
 specifically their songs
 'Not my Idea' and 'Stupid
 Girl'.  Of course, I had
 my own ideas too, for
 example I wanted more funk
 emphasis along with a
 style approaching Rage
 Against the Machine.
    Considering what I'm
 working with, I'm extreme-
 ly proud of this piece and
 how it turned out.  The
 lyrics are a bit typical,
 but I was so eager to get
 this song done that I
 didn't really patiently
 work with the words every
 step of the way.
    It took me about 7 hrs.
 to finish this... Boy, the
 speeds at which you can
 move when you're inspired.

    If you're wondering
 what exactly the title and
 the phrase "Dirty Dish
 Junkie" means, I was kind
 of focusing on the aspect
 of how many people tend to
 embreace sloth and filth.
 (Hence the frequently used
 image of a pile of dirty,
 disgusting unwashed dishes
 in a sink).  The lyrics
 depict the eventual loss
 of caring and loyalty to
 others, thinking only of
 feeding yourself, feeding
 your greed above all else.
