I've bought a cottage
 in Scotland where I
 can be alone when I
really need to relax.
 How I would want to
 be there now, being
 able to breath clean
 air. Then I could go
 for a walk - all the
way around Loch Ness,
 and have a chat with
 the local people at
 the Pub over some of
their wonderful beer.
 Then go home and sit
 in a very big chair
reading Shakespeare by
 the candlelight. But
 I'm standing here in
 New York choking on
 the nauseating smog,
scanning The Times in
 the pallid light of
  the sodium lamps,
 installed to prevent
 junkies from fixing,
  waiting for a bus
 to take me to work.
