Awesome, awesome track! As stated in other comments it's long and high quality samples. I love it! They even sneak a little bit of System Shock 2 samples for ya :D

Now that's a cool goa track!
It features great tb-303 effects, it's very long (which is very nice!) and has many cool effects. No wonder that it scored 2nd in this compo...
Recommended to all goa fans :)

Overall Impression (10/10)

wow... WOW... w0000t! Is this really a module? Yes, it is. and WHAT a module it is! This is a perfect Goa module! Every Goa module should be like this!

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (10/10)

Professional. There's a very long intro with creppy sounds and a slow drumline, and then, the real goa track begins! The pattern structure is very advanced, especially the TB-303 sounds. Martyn recorded one sample for every 303 phase! But those high-quality 303 sounds are not the reason why this module is so big (8 mb) and advanced for its time (1998). Listen to the sound effects for exmaple. The finest samples and finest module effects are used.

Development (10/10)

I will judge this from the point of view of a goa listener. For those of you who don't know, Goa music should not contain too many different melodies. Martyn kept a nice balance here. The intro long intro is just marvellous and then a Goa track full of bass and energy starts. This system shock voice snippet rules. I don't know if it was so slitten in the game, but it sounds very cool in this way. "Look at you, hacker...." - That's more than cool! The few melodies in this module are professional, advanced and nice to listen to. That's how Goa should be :) Long, monotonous and with many effects!

Creativity (10/10)

I feel the hours of work that are in this tune. It must have taken many days to create all these effects, put them together nicely, composing all these melodies and of course, splitting up these awesome TB-303 sounds! This track really deserved the 2nd place in the compo.

Enjoyment (10/10)

Sit back, relax, turn this module on and loop it - It sounds different every time you listen to it. Especially the effects make it worth a listen again and again.

Additional Comment

Huh, 10 / 10 for every section? No, I'm not kidding! No wonder that this tune ranked 2nd in the competition. I wonder how the 1st place sounds...
My conclusion: If you're into Goa, don't hesitate to download this module!!!
