artist My first Metallica cover. There will be more to come I think. The hard left pan is in the original, so I had to put it in there. I do agree that it goes for too long. It should be broken up by something. But hey, it's not my problem. :) - Pip Malt

Finally! A heavy metal song that at least sounds decent but dang it's repetitive... oh and saga's right.... but don't worry it's SupeR HarD to create these kind of songs on an tracker....

This remix sounds quite well. However, there are some small issues: The guitar pannings are sometimes not ideal (panned hard left - yes, it's deliberated, but c'mon, you can do better than Metallica did ;)). The mix is also quite dry and the song sounds quite monotonous all the time but that's not an issue for me.

-=COMMENTS=-
A friend was talking about how much he
loved this song so I decided to cover it.
I like it, too. I didn't do the vocals
because comparing me to Hetfield is like
comparing MIDI to module. :)  The lyrics
are actually based on the Bible
(The 10 Plagues of Egypt in Exodus).
This mainly talks about the 10th plague
(all firstborn killed except in the houses with
lamb's blood on the doorposts), which is a
symbol of efficacious atonement.
(Exodus 11-12)

It seems Metallica didn't use a metronome in
this song.  Some parts are faster than other
parts.  It makes it hard to headbang!  I
just made it a constant speed with the
length of the song about the same as the
original.
