A soft-dance version of Moonlight shadow originally by Mike Oldfield. This isn't particually flattering to the original but ok it's reasonably tracked and doesn't grate so about average IMO :)

Vson attemps to warm up with a little filtered tune layered on a sort of trancy texture (really just a polysynth) which kind of works, then drops a really simple & tiny 909 dance beat that doesn't really create any energy whatsoever... His little sort of horn/flute/clarinet sound doesn't really suit this genre of music, but the tune isn't too bad. There's also a dancy piano sometimes that hides behind everything else and give the whole mellow poppy dance/trance feel. Overall the song doesn't progress too well, and there's not much to keep the listener interested. The 909 drum sounds are pretty standard - the kick is OK (way too soft though), claps...well standard, the crash and open hihat both have a loop to try to lengthen the sound, but you don't really notice it. The panning throughout the song is pretty annoying, and not balanced enough. None of the samples are anything special, and some have a dodgy loop put on them (why can't people learn to use the XFADE function?) and a lot sound a bit too "mod-ish", like the bass. The acidy sounds (8, each at a different cutoff frequency) don't sound good, as you really notice when he switches them, where it should be smooth. Atleast he does use some good volume envelopes though, something more people should do.

First I was kinda doubting the quality of this song as of the bait-like title. But I have to agree on that its actually well tracked and such. This reply might come a little too late (22 years) but good job
