life, is roblox.
just kidding, i love the atmosphere of this song!
works well as a buildup to something

Very atmospheric, dark and melancholic.

This is absolutely incredible and one of the best Roblox songs I have listened too! I honestly love how this reminds me so much of a dark, mysterious boss fight in a big castle. Pretty cool. :)

fun fact: you can easily make music rips with this by editing it in openmpt or other module editing software

i mean what can i say? its winds of fjords, we all here remember hearing it in build to survive the zombie by dangertim with it being cut off. One time in tornado alley they played the song, but it wasn't cut off, and i was so happy and it was so beautiful. the song even holds up and sounds great backwards somehow, the progression of the song is amazing. The only slight critic i have is that the section with what big jim calls the "ANALEAD" are too short and the part with the Piano or "AHARP" are too long and repetitive, but that barely effects my enjoyment of the song.

Quite possibly the greatest MOD in history. It's incredibly epic, and gives off a vibe of grand adventure mixed with melancholy nostalgia to create one of the most famous songs in MOD history.

This song was most famously used in ROBLOX, and thus, most people have had quite a history with this song. But that's beside the point.

It's beautifully well composed. It's chilling, much like the winds of the fjords themselves. The strings are amazing, the keys are slow and memorable, the drums are simple and iconic (with that drum roll in particular putting the song into overdrive), and the synth. OH MY GOD, the synth is second to none. It's perfectly composed, and sounds like an absolute journey.

It's just perfect. Very rarely do I give such glowing reviews to anything, but this song deserves it in particular.

100% a 10/10.

Very dreamy, makes me feel very nostalgic.

So minomus in general is pretty consistent with his work, this just by circumstances happens to be his most popular. Not sure whether it's his best one though, I mean, it's obviously purposely a simple piece, and it's well accomplished. But he made many more other modules that are more elaborate than this one, for sure. Do give this (and his other works) a listen though :D

Thank you for creating an incredible piece of music and internet history, this song is always a joy to listen to.

I remember hearing this song all the time in the old days of ROBLOX, somewhere in the years of 2010-2012. Thanks for uploading this :D

It is one of my all time favorite songs and its perfectly made.
It might be just because I like Big Jim alot tho xD

The song attempts to encapsulate the emotions that the fjords of Norway produce when seen... This is to a large extent accomplished in the song, and quite well, too. I guess Minomus knew what he was tracking about? ;)))) This song is much more about emotional than technical experience, so there is not much here to say. The intro with the harp, choir and low stings is quite good indeed. The drumrolls at this point are nice too. When the song reaches its "movable" part (pattern #10), the transition into it is not very well done and could be improved; this part is a bit contrasting to the rest of the song, which is largely ambiental. Nevertheless, change is good at times. :))))

I had made so many trance tunes that I thought
it's time to do something different.

Most samples are ripped from Big Jim's "Voyage
to Eternity" (excellent song, indeed) and it
inspired me a lot.

All samples are 8-bit just because I wanted to
keep that great old stylish sound and didn't
want to make this so hi-fi tune. I think it's
better this way. This gives me a little bit
same feeling when I'm listening those great
modules from '90 - '96. Oh they have been
good times... I born couple of years too late=).
This's kind of "back-to-the-roots" song.

This tune starts my series of Wind songs. This
is as the title says song of the fjords of Norway.
They are so beautiful and rugged, just like those
great bass drums at the beginning. Sometimes they
are peaceful and sometimes so wild and changing.
At the end, I think, their water is smooth as

Next tune will be "Polar Wind", some kind of
industrial dnb, or something. I'm not sure yet.
Maybe I'll try to make it a little bit like
the deviant's "acidphuture". We'll see. It won't
take long, because I'm nowadays in THE MOOD=).
